As a Technology Expert, Martin Mayer is responsible for the area of medical technology at LISAvienna. His main activities include consulting medical technology companies regarding establishment, settlement, funding, cooperation, infrastructure and internationalization. He graduated from HTL Donaustadt with an educational focus in computer technology and, following military service, worked as a measurement technology engineer for fiber optic systems. Then he completed his bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering with an emphasis on medical informatics at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien and also his master's degree in healthcare and rehabilitation technology. As a part of his master's work at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute (LBI) for Experimental and Clinical Traumatology, he developed apps for the rehabilitation of patients with nerve injuries. Until his appointment as cluster manager at LISAvienna, Martin Mayer worked at LBI as a research assistant for micro-computer tomography.
