Here you can learn all about international trade fairs we participate in, about our seminars and business meetings and many other national and international events in the life sciences that take place in Vienna.
because of clearly less registrations we will post-pone the FOODSEG Symposium to September 2017. Our suggestion for the new date is 14th - 15th of September 2017 in Vienna, Austria.
For all participants who already will come to Vienna we suggest an alternative:
We offer a "FOODSEG Tour and H2020 Workshop" on 11th - 12th May in Vienna.
This tour and workshop will include visits to companies, institutions around Vienna, and discussions with experts there.
In addition, we would like to organise a H2020 workshop where we together define project ideas and cases in a detailed form that we can use them for the coming calls in H2020. This means that we can initiate new EU projects in this workshop which will then be the basis for proposal workshops during the FOODSEG Symposium in September 2017.
The main aim of the Symposium is to offer a platform for personal meetings and discussions on future cooperations and common projects along the whole feed and food chain in order to secure food safety and quality for the consumers.
Within the last five symposia in Germany, Romania, Serbia, Italy and Ireland more than 500 experts exchanged and discussed relevant topics along the feed and food chain and several cooperative projects have been launched.
The programme for the 6th symposium is based on a two-day event with talks by well-experienced scientists and decition-makers in the area of agriculture, feed, food, consumers - all along the feed and food chain. It further is a place to present selected EU Funded research projects in the area to discuss their research results and findings. Posters on EU funded research projects are welcome to be presented during the event.
We also want to motivate companies and industry to join us in Vienna and have therefore put together some interesting sponsoring options.
